In Full Bloom by C. Michael Dudash
July 10, 2020 * 5:00 - 8:00pm
25 years as a successful freelance illustrator followed by 18 years as a nationally acclaimed fine art easel painter, C. Michael Dudash’s career is in full bloom. Coming off a wildly successful one-man show in February where he sold out his 20 major works, we invite you to join us for “In Full Bloom”. A unique exhibition showcasing the full breadth of Michael Dudash’s ability and talent as an artist. “In Full Bloom” features a collection of florals, still lives and landscapes with an emphasis on the play of light and shadow, contemporary colors and the precise execution that’s synonymous with Michael Dudash’s work.
“Early collectors of my work are very familiar with the style and subjects that are featured in this show. These are personal paintings that reveal a different side of my current creative interests,” Michael says. “I’m too busy these days producing art for my western art career and western collectors to have much time for this type of work. But I thought it would be fun to take these oil paintings out of my private collection and present them into the marketplace….and the Coeur d’Alene Gallery seemed like the perfect venue. And as always, regardless of the subject, I work hard to ensure that my art is moving, beautiful, and timeless in it’s appeal. My hope is that art enthusiasts and collectors through the show In Full Bloom enjoy something from me that’s a bit different.”
Michael’s work is traditionally featured in the most prestigious shows around the country including the Prix de West at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, the Quest for the West at the Eiteljorg Museum, the Booth Museum of Western Art, the Briscoe Western Art Museum and the C.M. Russell Museum to name a few. Dudash’s work is also featured in the Coeur d’Alene Art Auction and Scottsdale Art Auction, and in 2016, Michael was invited to become a member of the prestigious Cowboy Artists of America. Join us Friday, July 10, 2020 from 5-8pm to meet and visit with Michael and enjoy this unique exhibition.
