English, Thomas 1949 -
A Texan, he earned a bachelor's degree in drawing and painting. He worked for many years as an illustrator and graphic designer. His mediums are oil and pastel, and he paints both on location and in the studio. Settling in Great Falls, Montana, he has won painting awards at the Montana State Fair and at the Western Heritage Artists Show. Tom has worked as exhibits fabricator for the CM Russell museum in Great Falls. In 1999, he was Glacier Park’s Artist in Residence and was invited to exhibit his work in the Governor’s mansion in Helena. Tom teaches in many venues, including the University of Great Falls and the CM Russell Museum.
