"I have packed into the high-country with my painting friends, have climbed cliffs and walked over boulder fields, sometimes covered with a surprise July snow, in order to put a scene to canvas. Wind, ice, rain, mosquitoes and even grizzlies on the trail try to curtail an artist's efforts. It is all worth it!" Barlow has been featured in Southwest Art Magazine, cover feature in American Artist Magazine and Big Sky Journal.
