Description: Bob Edgar was a dear friend to James Bama, and was a heavy influence on James becoming a fine artist that focused on the West after Bama's successful illustration career. Bob Edgar owned a trading post in Wyoming that Bama frequented and Bama regularly used items from Edgar's trading post for his paintings. Bama himself said this particular painting was probably the toughest and most rewarding painting he ever did because of the textures in the log cabin to the saddles to Bob Edgar's coat.
